Has there ever been published a notable, serious, credible Christian response to Nietzsche's criticism?
I don't know about responses to Nietzsche's criticism, but the Christian equivalent of his most famous work, 'thus spake Zarathustra', is 'The Prophet' by Kahlil Gibran. I don't know which was written first or if either read each others work, but there are many parallels. The one by the Lebanese mystic is better written, has greater beauty, more profound philosophy, deeper emotions and is more poetic than Nietzsche's. Frederich does not represent the views of the prophet Zoroaster, who was not an atheist. 'Thus spake Zarathustra' was good but 'The Prophet' is a masterpiece.
