Don;t want to celebrate royal wedding?

I really really think the whole royal wedding celebration in streets is pathetic, and just treating the public like children, waving on the "princess and the prince" ooohh!!!.. It's just medieval, like the whole monarchy (actually at least in medieval times they HAD power!) it's scarey how others buy into it.... yet if I say I don't want to turn up, I'll look like I;m anti the neighbours or something??
