What does it take to be a good quarterback?

Im 5"8, 150 pounds, and i have a great arm, the varsity coach said im a natural at throwing the ball, but i wnat to know what does it take to become a awesome quarterback? i mean im not tall but i use to play safety and wide receiver so im quick. But people been doubting me and saying that my arm sucks and im not gonna play quarterback on varsity and that im going to make jv again as a junior because now im a sophmore. But what do i hav eto do to become an awesome quarterback ?
