EOBD2 and OBD2 Scanners... help.?

My check engine lights is on, but by car seems to be driving fine. I have Plymouth Grand Voyager. On Ebay I see EOBD2 testers for cheap (one's meant for European cars, but they compatible with some American cars), does anyone know if they are compatible with Plymouth? Thanks.
