Does anybody else hate it when celebrities try to write a book?

I'm not talking about the adult famous ones. I'm talking about the dumb celebrities such a Hillary Duff and Lauren Conrad. I've heard those books are so awful. Why does being a celebrity give them more of a chance then others to write a book and get it published?
