Is it okay to hate somebody who slanders you and is out to destroy you?

The only person you may hate is the enemy, the devil of hell...well, and his demons. Your father however, is a victim of the enemy. I unfortunately do understand your situation. I hated my earthly father for about 25 years. I learned that hating him did not help me, did not change him, did not make me feel better or make him feel badly. I learned that forgiving him, helped me and blessed me. I pray you forgive your father. I am sorry for your suffering.
