You are probaby running too many programs at one time. And I am not saying that you are doing this on your own accord, they are probably in your start up.Goto start click run. Type MSCONFIG and select the start up tab in the new window. Now this is the tricky part, someof these items that you have checked in the boxes are needed to run your computer. Most are not. Look at the location, anything that starts with HKLM or HKCU are not to be unchecked. Everything else can be. If it is something that you use often, then just open it on your own accord instead of having it in your start up. 512 ram is plenty if you are not running 500 processes at one time.
