the revolutions were were a reaction to the writings of karl marx and Frederich Engels,they called for the proletiart to overthrow the rule of the monarchs and instill a rule by the working cl although all of the revolutions of that year were a failure it did prove to the socialists that they could instill enough unrest to start other revolutions
