Hi, I'm a sopre in high school and I really want to go to Brown. My grades are good (mostly low to mid 90's). I took the full PSAT and did really bad. I basically went into the exam not caring and got a 1450, yeah me! Seriously, this sounds like a panice disorder. This happened to me not too long ago and I thought something was wrong with me. They tested me my blood and urine for everything and they couldnt find anything. They even tested me for a peanut allergy!! They found out that I had a panic disorder and they put me on zoloft. Within a week, all my symptoms were gone. I know that you are set on thinking that something else is wrong with you, but I would be open to the idea that it is a panic disorder. Like I said, I didnt want to think that it was a panic disorder, but I also didnt want to live like that so I took my doctors advice and started the zoloft regimen. I also have the food chopper from Pampered Chef which you can find online if you don't know someone who sells it. I imagine it's similar to the Slap Chop. The Pampered Chef version is great, I really like it but it can't chop a lot at once but for smaller amounts it works really well and it's easy to clean. Errors in Foxpro 2.5 while executing from Windows 95 platform and Windows XP?

I have a Foxpro DOS based programme for billing software, it is a multi users. Now My server is Windows NT4, My Nodes are having Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows XP. Now when I run the application in DOS mode from the PC where the Windows 95 OS is loaded it runs without error and lets all other Nodes to run smoothly, BUT if I close that PC which is a 486 with Win 95 OS and try and run from Windows XP OS then there is an Error stating " Source Not Found" and "Too Many Files Open" and then either I hv to say ignore,ignore and go back. But If I cancel then it does not give to close/quit Foxpro. I have to close from task manager, I have even set config.sys the files and buffers same as WIn 95 OS. But still same problem. Can Any one help me how to resolve it.

Why am i so obsessed with this older man?

Hi there. Last semester i became infatuated with this older man who tutored at the community college i attend. He was not my tutor, just so you know. I saw him a lot both in the tutoring center and at the bus stop. I don't see him at all this semester. He was i am guessing, early forty's. I am a nineteen year old female. What is the next step on my quilt top?

Your layout is great. You need to sew them by rows, either up or down. When all rows are done take by rows and sew them together. When quilting always use a 1/4 inch seam. Your squares will end up being 5 1/2 inches.(when making a quilt usually you will add the seam allowance in so your squares would be 6 1/2 before sewing them). After you have finished sewing all the rows together take one color of remaining material and make a 2 1/2 inch border. You will sew pieces of that material together to measure the length and width of the top.If you do not have any material left to do this I would suggest that you go to a fabric store with a small scrap piece and find material in a solid color to match one color in the print. You will need about 1/2 yard. That will finish the top off. For batting I use warm and natural or warm and white. It is 100 percent cotton and very light. I use this for wall hangings,and small quilts. There are many types of batting out there and all will work fine. If you are wanting a batting to be light then go with 1/4 inch loft. Warm and natural is 1/4 inch. Now when quilting this together make sure your machine is able to quilt what we call a sandwich(the top,batting and backing). I have a sewing machine but it is not equip to do machine quilting. So I quilt by hand. Your sewing machine should have a separate foot for quilting, and stitches that you can set to do the quilting. You also need to have the right needle for this. I use an embroidery needle or in betweens in my machine to sew with. That is because I don't want holes in the material. (some needles break the thread of the material and leave tiny holes that later help in the ware of the blanket). this goes for both sewing the pieces together and quilting. Lastly you never said what size of quilt you are making. You need to know that so you can buy the correct batting. Batting comes in several sizes. So if you are making a lap quilt say 54 x 54 or 66 x 66 you should by a twin size package of batting. Warm and natural does come by the yard but you still need to know how much. If you want a larger size then you can by packages that say twin,full,queen,etc. Also If you do not have material for the backing then when you buy the material for the small border buy enough for the backing. The backing should be at least 6 inches more all around to allow for the quilting of the quilt. Good Luck

Is adding magnesium sulfate to an old battery a good idea even if the battery isn't dead?

I've read in several places that an old lead-acid battery can sometimes be rejuvenated by replacing the sulfuric acid with magnesium sulfate dissolved in distilled water and then charging it. Supposedly, this cleans aculated grunge off the plates and often restores the battery to useful service. What I wonder is whether it's a good idea to add some magnesium sulfate to the water one adds to a battery just in the normal course of things just to keep the battery in good shape even if it's not yet exhibiting problems.

Rena D, my daughter-n-law works 2 jobs on 1job 40hrs+ and the other job 15-18hrs, my son pays over half the amount and she pays the less amount. I don't baby sit on Sun. that's my full day for the Lord and Wed. nights is Bible Study. Now, I have my own daughter that have 2 kids a 5yr. boy and a 18mo. girl as well. Gameshark 2 V 1.3 stopped working :/?

Ok, here is the deal. I have a Gameshark, right? So I have used it in the past with a little trouble (Which was starting it up) and it always worked after about 5 tries, on the bad days. So, I buy THAW (Tony Hawk's American Wasteland), and of course, everyday I get a new game, I always have to use some codes. So I put in a (M) code, put in 2 codes, and I thought I was set. That was until I restarted the Gameshark. It wouldn't work at all. It was giving me disk read errors and such. So, I went to my friends to try to get my problem resolved. (He had a Gameshark v1.3 as well, and an AR Max) So he let me have his GS and AR because he plays ps3 more often, so I go home, and for some reason, the other Gameshark won't work either. Then I pop in AR, like magic, it works the first time. So I am like, "Yay..." and I put some codes in. Restart it, and GUESS WHAT? AR started messing up as well. I have 4 ps2s in my house. 1, Mine, another, my sister's, 3rd, my mom's, and 4th, my brothers. I have lots of experimenting to do. So I pop in the GS in my mom's ps2, messes up still. But when I put the AR in, it works, so I test out the codes, and the result was nothing. So, as you could guess, I am pretty pissed. This was a long time ago. Like months ago. That is how long I have been waiting to get some codes on THAW...and I know CB is better and all, but I need to save up my money for that, and I am guessing that it will **** up just like my GS and AR. The friend that gave me his GS and AR had a CB at one time, but the CB was the first of the 3 to actually stop working. So, Idk if wasting my money (Again) would be a smart idea. Idc though, I guess I would have to try it out eventually.

Why is my ex angry with, and trying to control me?

Divorced 8 months, have son with 50/50 custody. My ex began a relationship with a man 15 years her senior prior to separation, though he lives in another city. I do not interfere in her life though I think separation was a mistake. Our relationship was not abusive. But she is often very angry with me. For example, she dressed me down in public because I didn't invite her to a dinner party with mutual friends. I have ceased contact, except for matters concerning our boy. She tells me off for being too 'lenient' with our son. She drops by occasionally. She told me off for telling our boy 'I miss him' (said it undermined her). She is quite the bully, but oddly, I would take her back, if she made some changes, but she won't take any responsibility for the break-up. Our boy has a strong preference to be with me; he ociates her new man with the break-up. I want us to be civil for our boy's sake but she has these sporadic outbursts. So, why the anger? isn't she happy with her new man?

What can I do to help deter my 17 month old's throwing habits?

My little girl likes to throw her food. Which I know is what babies do. However, hers involves sippy cups and utensils. I happened to be on the receiving end of a fork the other day. Humans live in artificial environments that act as adaptations themselves leaving no evolutionary pressures for humans to adapt to. Evolution is caused through mutations and is then continued by evolutionary pressures such as the leaves on a tall tree being to high up for certain giraffes with shorter necks and only the long neck giraffes survive because they are able to obtain food and reproduce. This happened over thousands of years and is why giraffes have long necks. With that said humans have long been trading adaptation and changing the land to adapt to us. We have houses to protect us from the elements, medicines to protect us from diseases, and machines to help us accomplish tasks. The example you give could be a possible adaptation only if we were exposed to the sun almost all of the time for thousands of years and lived outdoors.

I think the 2 worst teams of all time were the win-less '76 Tamba Bay Bucs, and the 1989 Dallas Cowboys. TB was horrible for 2 years actually, but they did finally win a game in '77. Dallas finished 1-15 but were horrible. Jimmy Johnson's first year, Troy Aikman's first year, as an avid Cowboys fan, it was painful to watch, but not nearly as painful for me as it was Aikman. He got a finger on his throwing hand broken, and was knocked unconscious at least twice and maybe 3 times during that season. I have a house in Colorado, with the backyard side facing straight west (towards the Rockies). I noticed that in the summer the sun appears to set to the north of the western side of my house (and shadows are cast in a long diagonal from North to South). Wow.. thats a great team for a big league.. TIPS - improve on your Relievers just a bit, Valverde sucks, and Street isnt amazing, and Gagne is injured.. I would try to trade Gooch or Kendrick and Johnson for a better reliever. Also, I would definitely try to trade your benched batters for pitchers, its always better to have more pitchers than batters because batters play every day, but pitchers pitch every 5 days. If you want a backup, thats fine, but your batters aren't really injury prone, your pitchers are.

What Books do you Learn from?

I would definitely recommend "Outliers: The Story of Success" by Malcolm Gladwell. Very fascinating! I would also recommend "The Poisonwood Bible" by Barbara Kingsolver which is about a missionary family in Africa from the 1950's onward. It has a lot of info about the conflicts, wars and history of Africa and it is just a really good book in general.

I am living in the usa due to my fathers investment status. I am underage. Their life as they knew it is now over, and this accusation will forever hang over their head. Ok, here is my take on George deciding to join the Army and then getting hit by the bus. I think he was deeply affected by the man who wanted to get his own leg amputated just to be able to go back to Iraq. He decided to join because he wanted to be heroic and help fight for his country. I think fate knew he wouldn't last long in the war, therefore, he got the chance to save someone elses life by voluntarily throwing himself under the bus (pun intended). He served his country by dying(maybe) for someone elses safety and well being. Fate let him carry out his wish. Chicken Help!! Any suggestions?

I have a chicken, probably around 2-3 yrs old, we got her and some of her buddies on the 4th of April. About a month ago, we introduced some new young birds, gradually, and now everyone is co-existing well. On Friday, I noticed my big girl Biggie, had her comb was discolored and laying on her head (usually is erect and a bright red), she seemed very slow, delayed reactions and very careful about where she stepped. She's way out of it. She is not eating, depressed like, stays to herself, not interested in her free time (not even when everyone sounds the worm alarm and they go nuts) she'll just stand or lay there, not interested. There has been a few times where I see her yawning (like she's trying to dislodge some thing, but she's not gaging or choking) and she occasionally has a goober of drool from her beak. Her breathing is rapid, and she has some runny stool, but its not clumped on her bottom and she is not herself at all. The young birds were de wormed 2x prior before introduction, and the big girls were de wormed 2x before the introduction and as an entire flock they were de wormed after introduction. My husband cleans the entire coop ever 2-3 days, they are fed crumble, oyster shells every day, and corn 1 to 2 x a week thrown out in their paddock where they have free time. They get free time in a controlled setting, and are allowed to forage for bugs and on gr. I don't think she is laying, she's hardly walking or eating. We separated her to prevent the other girls from picking on her. Any suggestions. I was leaning towards coccidosis, however, labored breathing doesn't fit into the symptoms, and sour croup, but she doesn't have a smell? Any suggestions. I've tried all the vets around here, and none of them see chickens and yest we are in a rural area! ={ They suggest butchering her to prevent contamination of the rest of the flock.... ok if I need to , but I will not do that yet, because I don't know what it is and no other birds are displaying any of her symptoms. Thank you.

if you only have a betta then 5 gallons is big enough. well my betta is in my 65 gallon tank and he has never been happier. the filter is strong, but he stays at the other side of the tank away from the current. plus he lives with at least 40 other fish. and he can swim against the current, plus i have plants in the tank that help sort of slow the current down

This person is a very shy person with a superiority complex. No one likes her but she chooses to ignore it, or she has no idea. As long as the project is career oriented and kids can explore options off campus, I think it's a very good idea. Many kids don't go to college, and the senior project can help them decide what sort of career path to follow. The only problem might be that in some areas it might be hard to find a mentor. But all in all, it's a good idea and lots of school require it.

i would like to lose a few pounds, i am not over weight and it my weight is no medical concern. i just think a few pounds would make a difference.
